Inspection Services
We offer the following coating inspection services:
- Pre-job coating and contractor consultation and evaluation with the coordination of the start up and pre-job meeting.
- Monitoring the safety regulations of the owner.
- Monitoring and recording weather and metal temperatures to ensure compliance with owner and manufacturer specifications.
- Inspection of the applicators equipment for proper oil, water traps, gauges, filters, etc.
- Ensure specified blast media is being used.
- Inspection of blast media for contaminants.
- Inspection of sandblast for visual standard and profile.
- Testing for the presence of soluble chlorides.
- Inspection to ensure proper clean out such as vacuuming.
- Inspection of material for proper batch, catalyst, base, shelf life, and new containers.
- Inspection of mixing procedure to ensure correct and accurate mixing procedures are being used.
- Perform wet and dry film thickness readings as per specifications.
- Monitor curing times and temperatures between coats.
- Holiday inspection as per client/material specification.
- Inspection of repair work.
- Perform final cure tests.
- Monitor clean up.
- Document coating data for client records.
